We constantly talk about PC on these boards. We all know what PC is, but which are its limits? I mean when does PC become a negative thing? Give examples. Try to elaborate without using the word liberal.

Other than listening to the occasional news report, I have yet to be affected by any means of 'political correctness'. Have any of you actually been affected, and has it actually changed your life or was it a minor change that had no effect on you whatsoever?
I live in Vancouver, one of the most liberal, multicultural cities in North America. It does not affect Xmas time. We just had the Santa Claus Parade. My local grocery chain plays Xmas music over their speakers. There are Santa Claus centres in every mall, and Xmas tree decorations around my town. There are no complaints, and we have a multitude of religions, races, and cultures. Mostly everyone says 'Merry Xmas', and if they say 'Happy Holidays', I don't get all pissed off because it is 'PC'. Lighten up. On the rare chance that something is changed, it is ever rarer for the cause to be a Muslim or a woman or any other minority group complaining; mostly, it is the majority group that causes the changes in an effort to please everyone. Even then, it is unlikely to actually affect you.

Apparantly..the song "Ba, Ba, Blacksheep" Had to be changed to "Rainbow" Sheep because it kept referring to slavery
