Valve/Steam would NEVER ask for your password.

A lot of people have given their pw to a steam user called Automate Message.

Would be a shame to loose all your games

You know, you can report them to. :3 Just send in their Steam Community name and they will get their account disabled or something.

I think only a screenshot is needed because they might record all the chats and it should be easy to check if it's fake or not. Just PM the stuff to any moderator on the Steam forums.

You'd be suprised on how many idiots actually give out their password. *sigh*

Similar scams exist for World of Warcraft: The video tells you to write your Account name and Password and your "targets" account name and server, or something similar, and then send it to various email addresses with the name blizzard in it for authenticity. Nevertheless he came into possession of at least 15 Accounts, 3 of which had fairly well geared 70's on them.
