I asked for your input on getting a new gaming mouse on the temp forums and thanks for your help!!
I told you I'd give you an update on what i thought of it so here goes...
oh yeah we're not allowed to swear on the forum so that's going make things a little bit shorter
Function : on the fly dpi switching doesn't work. Adjustable dpi settings - you need to tweak them loads to get anything close to usable (both in mouse config and in bf2) and guess what you end up with an in game setting that is completely different from the menu setting in game. I also have 2 pointers when i bring up xfire in game (that could just be an xfire bug though).
Also the side buttons have only worked once, the first time i played and now they don't (the whole reason i bought the f*****g thing) and when i try to remap the keys bf2 tells me they're already in use
(yeas i did clear the keys and reset to default still nothing even with re-installing the driver and the game and I'm still getting the same message)
To try and be impartial i would say it has the potential to be a great mouse ESPECIALLY if you're a Lefty as the side buttons are mirrored on both sides.
That's about it for the review not nearly as positive as I was hoping but then that's life!!
Any help / suggestions would be great (apart from should have bought logitech etc =P)
