I don't get it, if you read the entire article. He said no trick or treaters. He has every right to beat the shit out of these chavs if he wants to. They need to stop defending this bastards. Why the fuck does the kid get £150 for being a Chav. I swear to god, this place needs sorting out...

I hope that kid is traumatised for the rest of his life, nah...he's gonna have a scar and is £150 richer. He's probably loving the whole thing. I'm not 100% sure of the British educational system, but year 8 students are what, 12 or 13? (if it's the same as 8th grade in the states...) If not, they certainly aren't 8 years old, right? Thats a big difference!

He punched an eight year old in the face. That's pathetic, even if he did have a sign and even if the kid did ignore it, he punched an eight year old kid in the face! Over trick-or-treating for fucks sake! Yeah the 61 year-old deserved to be punished even if the kid learned a valuable lesson if he was in fact being a brat, but eight years old is really young.
Most kids go through a cocky stage at about the time they go to high school, at eight years old though kids haven't even figured out anything about themselves whether they're chavs or emo kids or whatever. From what I understand the guy who did the punching lashed out after a number of kids called at his house so it wouldn't have been any action of the kid's it would have been more the build up of people calling at this guy's house and the eight-year-old was the final straw.

Lastly, he's EIGHT for fucks sake! Why would you punch an eight year-old kid? I know that for some people here closer to that age group eight doesn't seem too young, but even for me at 20, eight is fucking young to be being punched in the face by an adult!
