I am a private right now, I went on BF2 today, got a few great rounds, some medals and some points. I have 161 points, I am 100% to PFC, (see http://www.paradroid.net/bf2stats/bf2st … mp;lang=en). I got all of my medals I won today, thank god, and the points, but I can't get promoted, I am 100% to PFC, but I am still a private, even in game I am not a PFC, thought the bar to it is totally full.

Anyone know why this is?

The reason why is you have to have the points at the start of the round. If you have 149 at the beginning, and end up with 170 by the end of the round, you still won't see the promotion. You probably wouldn't see it the next round either, because the stats server has to process your previous round stats, which can take a while. Once the server has updated with your points(which it has), the server will then know that you're due for promotion.

Thanks man, first kill I got in my next game gave me the promotion, I also got a bronze medal out of it.

Just remember how this works for any future promotions. Just check your stats in BFHQ before you play. If you want to refresh the stats, you have to exit the game and open it back up again. Once you see you have more than the required score, then play a round and you get your promotion. The server you play on, gets the info from the same place BFHQ does.. so it shouldn't be a problem.
