O.k to make it clearer, if it wasn't already, UFC is the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Now whats considers the "big stage" of mixed martial arts. It was overshadowed by Japans " Pride Fc " ( possibly the greatest fighting organisation ever ) but half a year ago the ufc bought out pride and are now contracting all of their fighters.
The Topic i brought up Chuck Vs Wanderlei is considered the biggest most long awaited and greatest fighter match ups in MMAs history. Chuck was the UFC golden boy, Wandy was and always will be prides best known fighter ( as pride is no more ) They never could settle agreements with the two contracts, but now the same guy owns both fighters contracts and is gonna be rich rich rich..

MMA isn't just American. It started in Brazil and japan, and is a fast increasing sport in the main media. Holland,England Japan, Korea, Ukraine, Russia, Australia and New Zealand all compete and most of them school the very very new Americans.  ( not trying to start a flame war, i know i started dissing the iceman but i do recognise many greats from the USA like the god that is Randy Couture etc ) Hell one of the Ukraine front benches in senate is a renowned K1 fighter ( mirco crocop ) pride champion and now ufc fighter.
-Its not cage fighting although it is in an octagon that is fenced off. Its is Karate vs Judo or Sumo vs. Kickboxer or now Judo/Jujitsu/mui Thai kickboxer vs another jujitsu/stand up specialist etc. Its just not in a ring where you can fall or climb out of, in UFC that is PridePC was a ring.

O.k since i received so much distaste for the thread i edited my post out of respect for the forum. I mention later in posts, this was done in a light hearted manor, and with an obvious -my team is better than yours, type of jest, with intention of being told "your crazy chuck wins" No offence intended. What was edited was my silly ramblings of my one sided vote, the cremation comment was all that was needed from that paragraph.

Although i though it may have been obvious i was criticizing chuck liddell, one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts, was it really that unclear?
And no its not staged or anything like wresting .. Its was no rules any martial arts style against another, but now it is regulated and has been for 10 years, so its far from the blood show it was at ufc 10.

And ausssies .. we have a guy george satriopolus in the ultimate fighter series who has a decent chance of winning.. the UK and US boys know what im on about surly.. it hasnt really hit our shores yet here, but it will by next year.

No he's not back. That vid is a bit old. I watch him on HDnet last Friday, he commentates for inside MMA. He read a letter from a fan asking when he would he return. He laughed and said when I get two new knees. http://www.hdnetfights.com/info_insidemma.html
