I notice it because from time to time my mouse stops responding, and if I then look under it, I find the red light to be off... after a little waiting (or frustrated shaking and banging the mouse if gaming) it comes back on again...FlemishHCmaniac wrote:

Ah, I see. I have the same with a game mouse I bought. Sometimes it doesn't respond for 2 seconds and then you hear the sound when you connect new hardware which suggests that the pc thinks it was unplugged and replugged. Really annoying while gaming.
