What the US needs to do now in the 21st century is secure its border!! We dont need to start an argument about slaves from Africa, we need to start protecting the USA from becoming a third world country!! We dont need to import anyone from anywhere anymore, there are too many fuckers here already!!

I have always thought the US biggest mistake was having slaves, and I am proven right every single day.
The problem in the United States is not of skin color. Skin color just happens to be a genetic marker determined in the womb. What the failing of the United States is is very simple, yet utterly complicated.
The reparations after the American Civil War cost the South dearly. There were not only poor black people but also poor white people who were unable to advance in civilization due to the lack of economic funding. The South had and still has (to my knowledge) fewer industrialized capabilities than the rest of the United States. Often the children had to stay home and work to be able to support the family. Keep in mind this is the same for the white families and immigrant workers.
This is even true for the families that moved out of the South to other areas to find work. They had nothing to start with and were quickly exploited for cheaper goods and products in the North and expanding territories. Without the education that they were now entitled to, the children had to take menial jobs that paid little and again the cycle repeated. The poor are kept poor (a process continued today through the Social Security program but that's for another day) and thus adapt to a certain style of living. Generally crime is more accepted the poorer the situation.
As time went the culture changed and the iconic figure that presented itself was a young black man from the inner city. This image is false and true at the same time. The fact that it is a black man is false; but a young person from the inner city is true. It is their culture and the way that society raised the children, educated through the actions of everyday life, that shaped this attitude. If you go into an inner city and stand a black kid, white kid, Hispanic kid, and Asian kid next to each other from the same neighborhood, they are the same person with a different shade.
Look at anyone that has escaped poverty through hard work and they are just like everyone else, a 'respectable' member of society.
Summary: Don't say that getting rid of someone because of their skin color is justifiable. Look at the situation of how they were brought up, skin is just the bag that holds a person together.
