Just got into a car accident, was doing about 30 and this lady in a BMW pulled out in front of me and i nailed the ass end. Her bumper went flying down the road like a frisbee lolz.

It was her fault, she ran a stop sign on a 2 way stop, and I didnt have a stop sign. Police came, decided not to file a report, so I got off free

She was almost in tears because she felt so bad, no damage to my car thank god, only huge blue scuff on the bumper. But, I have to pay nothing, and my insurance didnt find out

Good thing your insurance company doesn't know. It's so lame that even if it's not your fault, rates still go up But what about that huge scuff on your bumper, don't you want to get that taken care of?

It was my idea not to file the report. The cop said theres no real damage so its pretty pointless to file one. Plus if I wanted the report filed, she would have gotten a 125 dollar ticket and 4 points on her license.

Im not gonna screw someone up like that for just a scuff mark on my bumper.

in my state if the damage is under $500 you dont have to file a report. Mostly its up to the officer on scene though
