Is it really that bad? I still enjoy BF2 screwing around on the US server, TF2 has some really nice team work for pub servers and some excellent third party maps, and CoD4 is just a darn good shooter. I have a lot of fun gaming, though granted I no longer spend all my time with one game a la BF2.

It has been nice, though, that some have moved on to TF2. I find myself playing with bf2s'ers in TF2 almost daily.

But I agree, overall, there just aren't the numbers in other games like there was in bf2.

I remember i was playing Soldier of Fortune 2 online from 2002-2005 and i said " I will play this forever as its not boring for meh"
I started playing the demo from Bf2 in 2005 then i finally got it in 2006 february and i said "I will play this game forever" and we got 2007 now.
Sorry 2008 shortly and i still say "I play it as i dont find anything common to this"

Yes i feel that lots of people stopped playing it and you see more 3 star generals on teh servers what means a lot of people completed their awards as some are saying "they finished the game as they got all promotions"
But i found a lot of nice people here on bf2s.com and i also started to play with them in the last days. I STILL enjoy playing this game.

Yes i refused to buy Bf 2142 and i keep myself loyal tot his buggy, glitchy, problemful BUT awsome game.

I suggest organising mass BF2s reboots of the ranked servers, as many EU members on their server, as many US on theirs, as many Aussies on theirs. Make it all happen on a single day, get as many BF2's from those continents in and get back to what it used to be, but for the love of god pick maps where people aren't gonna get raped so they leave.

BF2 will live again!

I think people remember things better than they actually were. But this game was great when I first got it. I had no idea of patches, I never patched for a about 2 weeks. I was on the very first version, there was one ranked server that was full all the time. I remember sniping on Dragon valley 32 and it was great.

Bf3 please. Just make sure it's fine before you release it.
