If it touches the processor, will it be rendered useless immediately?

that should be no problem. With the time you ran it, all possible inside water should have evaporated. A laptop in a bag during rain is no problem, spilling your drink over it is. I thought you were talking about putting a laptop inside a bowl of water ...Ayumiz wrote:
hmm it was raining today and i was carrying my laptop in my bag and i was cycling home.. When i took it out, it didnt look wet or feel wet but it felt rather cold though.. But it managed to run for about 5 hrs now, so it should be fine?
that sucks, glad I never spilled any type of liquid over my laptop . I however did manage to spill a glass of orange juice over the keyboard of my desktop computer , cleaned it and works fineFredrik wrote:

I killed our TV with a glass of apple juice when I was 5. It really went out with a bang (lol pun)']['error wrote:

I spilled a full glass of water over a friends laptop once. 1/2 liter right over the keyboard. Immediately yanked out the power cord and the battery and left it lying there to dry for a day.Fredrik wrote:

I once put a coin in the cigarette lighter-outtake-thingy on dads Range Rover. When he started it, it went BAM and the fusebox caught fire. He had to replace all gauges and lights too.
Wonderful memories...
