Sorry for all these tech questions lately, but I just want to make sure everything will work perfectly before I order everything! (Plus I found out today that I had to cancel a RAM order because after going through many many pages of reviews, more than I went through the first time, I find out the RAM is 2.1V but my mobo only supports 1.8V )
I was originally going to go with an ATi Radeon x1950 Pro, but now I'm considering paying a little bit more for the HD 3850. Only problem is that its interface is PCI Express 2.0. I did some Googling and came across a wikipedia page that said 2.0 was backwards compatible. So does that mean that my future motherboard (which has a PCI-e 16x slot) will support this PCI-e 2.0 video card?
