get a friends comp that is compatible with your components, and just mix and match to see what is good and what is bad

time consuming, but necessary; it shouldn't get too expensive either

thats a negatory on the friends comp...

just moved 2k miles... dont really know anyone with a compatable computer...

and Varegg, you think the mobo is the problem?

Oh ive tried with ASUS.

HORRIBLE. customer service.

I posted on their forums too but they deleted it with no reason.

Email doesnt work either. they just repeat the same crap telling me to "Go to start > Run   etc..." because I cant turn my computer on...

Dell customer service is pretty good, and I think they help with computers other than Dell as well... but maybe I'm wrong. They're pretty expensive here in the UK though, but it should get your problem fixed, and if I was in your situation, I would definitely give it a try.

most like your mobo got fried too. and as much that you overclocked it at once i would guarantee it.

could any of the other components have been affected?

Thats one of the risks of overclocking your CPU by increasing the front side bus speed is your also overclocking the motherboard, so you risk frying both. Theres a slight chance you could have fried your RAM and even Video Card, but I doubt it. Does your PSU fan come on?

PSU fan + all led and Liquid coolent runs fine.

I just put 1 GB of ram in this comp, it works well good.

And the Graphics card fan spins.

So basically the components in the wake of danger are things that are directly connected to the mobo?

..which would be everything.

likely you fried your motherboard when you OC'd that much. probably going to have to scrap it.

Nah... Just read up on some guides on the internet, and you'll be fine... But basically, you have to overclock in small steps. You know, to make sure you don't kill anything
And it's really recommended to have a cpu and motherboard temperature indicator.

yeah, I agree with that, It was just one of those idiotic bliss moments when it was like, oh lets OC cause I want to see what I can get, oh it doesnt reboot. *thinks* ..... FUUUUCKKKK!!!!

and yeh I got liquid coolent on the PSU and ive got about 6 fans and plenty of empty space in there, so im not too worried about temp :\   but I would if i was OC'ing, which i now wont, lol

thanks all.

Okay, after a few ours of dissapointment and screaming about how the mother board wouldnt fit and how shitty the case is I got everything good. Booted into safe mode. and freaking got EVERYTHING working.

Thank you all for the help, I wouldnt have been able to do it without you.

For notes:  A new processor and MOTHERBOARD had to be installed in order for the system to function properly. I knew that it was messed up when I booted to black screen with NO BIOS.
