I am trying to install Debian on one of my extra 500GB hard drive.   Here is my setup now:
2X 74GB Raptors in RAID 0 .... Windows XP Professional installed
500GB drive .....  Music/movies etc storage
500GB drive .....  wanting to install Debian on

I am using a Debian installation CD that I downloaded.  I get to the part of the installation where I partition the drive.  I make the drive I want to install Debian on an Ext3  file system.  I make the mount point "/" (w/o the quotation marks) because it says that is the root file system.

It then starts to make the changes and install the system, but an error message comes up that says:

"Two file systems are assigned the same mount point (/):  SCSI1 (o,o,o), partition #1 (sda1) and SCSI2 (0,0,0), partition #1 (sdb1).

Please corect this by changing mount points.
I am stuck now and do not know what to do.  Are there any Linux experts out there that can help me?

Make sure you aren't mounting the swap and your main partition to the same path.

Appearantly you have 2 partitions set up to be root. So, you'll have to recheck the other partitions
