I have never played anything but the newest patch,, since i bought BF2 after 2142... anyone care to post a fix list ?

Man, loved the good old BF2...
Might instal it again if there actualy are servers up with the old patches, ranked or not.
The non restricted movement, GL's, Blackhawk and everything else...

Howdy brothers...
The last two remaining servers were having noticeable PB problems during their last weeks of life.
I've been unable to get a response from the owners, but I think admin failure to update caused their demise.
It couldn't be from lack of traffic, because we know there was always lots of players.
Sad, because it was the best version of the game. Not perfect, but certainly the best.

well i know the kark one was having probs with people getting kicked repeatedly due to the server having an outdated PB, a simple console command would stop you from getting kicked for good (regardless of exiting game or not) however the wake one seemed to update with the PB patch and had no problems up till the day it stopped running. sad, another era of bf2 gone for good :-( solo BH whoring the bots just isnt the same :-(Rick_O_Shea678 wrote:

Yep, it would be nice. I have too much difficulty adjusting to the different physics between the two patches. Be nice if they stuck with one.ChevyLee86 wrote:

Shame 1.12 died a year ago, it had about 10 ranked server and one 64p server.

so does anyone know any decent servers for 1.41? i was playing last night and i wanted to play jalalabad, but there were only IO servers up. in fact most of the servers I saw last night were IO. i need to play on a server with vehicles so i can get a few badges so i can eventually grab brig general is a few months.

Do you guys have 2 different versions of bf2 installed that you run 1.03 and 1.41 or do you just back patch (possible??) if you want to play the older version??

And yes, movement in the old one was infinitely better. It always sucks ass when you are prone and go to stand up and get greased cuz you can't defend yourself.
Why don't people make a 1.03 patch mod if they love it so much?

well yea, gonna have to aren't i? i was better tonight for a few rounds, actually went 17 and 0 with the MG36, until the normal 1.41 fall back on spam nading took me out 5 times straight.cowami wrote:
