There is a set solution, and it moves the symbols around every time. The symbol that corresponds to 9 is the one that will always show up.
Edit: How it works (if it isn't already clear), any number you select will end with a multiple of 9.

So anything where 9 fits in is always the answer/same symbol, and it switches the symbols around every time you try it again?

Any number you select goes through that formula and ends with a multiple of 9, which all have the same symbol.
24 -> (24 - 06) = 18 = 2 * 9
55 -> (55 - 10) = 45 = 5 * 9
39 -> (39 - 12) = 27 = 3 * 9
71 -> (71 - 08) = 63 = 7 * 9
And so on.

I know that at least one of these "mind readers" work with that system, plus checking where you hover your mouse, since it's very likely for you to move your mouse around the symbols when you pick.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
