From what I gather on airsoft-specific forums, avoid Evike like you would avoid the bubonic plague. Also, in the future, always try to list the manufacturer of whatever you buy if you can find it. Very important.

And to everyone else, please, let's not turn this into a(nother) airsoft vs. paintball "debate" (shitfest). In the end, what he buys is what he wants, so shut the fuck up and stop going ZOMG PAINTBALL AM BETTARS. Reality check: airsoft and paintball are, the vast majority of the time, made for incredibly different scenarios and purposes, and cannot be compared. The only similiarity: people shooting each other.

Anyway.

1. The gun you linked to is equipped with a replica ARMS SIR. The SOPMOD M4 uses the KAC RIS: http://pointact.com/prod_AK-M4RIS_651_29.html (better store and lower price.)

2. Being as you have a rather limited budget and are using Chinese-made guns, the money spent on the accessories would honestly be rather better spent on internal reliability upgrades. This little thing should dramatically improve your accuracy, assuming the stock unit is shitty, as it almost always is: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/ind … ts_id=1197

That thing does not require that you open the gearbox. It is the hop-up bucking, and goes inside the hop-up unit. Search on the Internet for installation. Guides applying to nearly any M16/M4-type rifle (except TM "CAR-15", XM177E2, XM16E1, M16A1) will apply to this one.

3. This (http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/ind … cts_id=848) is a replica of one included in the SOPMOD kit. I have no idea if yours is actually used by special forces, but as I said, that one's in the SOPMOD kit.

4. Magazines, of course. http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/mags.htm That particular site doesn't have individual product pages. Fucked if I know why. Anyway, I'm talking about the "Star M16 30-round mags (10 pack)", which is $49.99 and includes 10 30-round mags. That's also the one I used in the final price calculation, below. Some "Star M16 mid-cap"s, "Marui M16 Lowcap"s, or the "MAG M16 Midcap (8-pack)" should work as well. Those are the only ones I've heard a decent amount of good things about. Stay away from the G&P magazines.

5. I've never seen that particular manufacturer of EOTech-552, so I really can't say tnything about it. If you're going for that "lolomgspecops" look, I suggest a G&P AimPoint copy, something looking like an EOTech 551 or 552, or any kind of ACOG. It's really up to you. I'll list a few here.

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.ph … t%20Scopes That's the G&P AimPoint. Keep in mind that you will be adding perhaps $20 or less for shipping, since that store is in Hong Kong. That in mind, I've found them only at maybe $80 at US stores. Also, this will not clear the front sight with the included mounts. If you do decide to get this, fire me a PM and I'll either show you some mounts that will let the dot be on the same spot as the front sight, or a flip-up front sight.

http://www.rsov.com/product_info.php?cu … ts_id=1026 That's a Chinese EOTech 551. Significantly more expensive (that too is in Hong Kong) and really doesn't do anything the AimPoint won't. Both are red-dots. This does not use holographic technology like the $400 real one. Here's the 552 (long one): http://www.rsov.com/product_info.php?cP … ts_id=1297

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.ph … t%20Scopes And an ACOG. That's the 1x version. 4x is, in my opinion, far too much for airsoft unless you're getting ridiculous range (e.g. on the order of real firearms).

6. I'd include links for rail covers (to cover rails, of course) and back-up iron sights (because you'll be removing the carry handle/rear sight) here, but the site (WGC Shop) I was linking from kind of went all dead on me just now. Again, PM if you require.

That's basically it. Excluding optics, the total comes to $182.89, which might not be accurate since I'm going on memory. Assuming your original budget of $350, that leaves $167.11 for optics ("scopes"), which all of the ones above fall far short of. Which is a good thing. Which also leaves at least $70 for said rail covers, scope mount, and BUIS. None of which are absolutely necessary, of course, but which you might want.

If you have any questions, ask me. If I don't know, I'll go through someone who does, and get back to you.

And do yourself a favor and stay away from <$75-ish shitsoft guns. Getting one of those is just begging for a paperweight.

I lol every time you pop up trying to sell that thing.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken and he hasn't found a buyer yet, I believe Parker also has a TM SG 552. Although do bear in mind those are a pain in the ass to strip (I have one) and should generally be left untouched.
