I'm making a magazine for a school magazine but I have no idea how I'm supposed to make the template and basically the whole design of it. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing and have any advice or help?
Look at the cover of a popular magazine and shamelessly rip off the entire design. Best done if you just blot out the words with obvious random strokes and write over it for the lulz.
Would need to know more details about said magazine to be able to offer any advise. Is there a template for it? A logo? What kind of content? Magazines are fairly easy to put together if you already know the basics.

I used to write for a magazine called "Dissent" when I was in college. Sadly it lost funding before it became anything more than a pamphlet handed out at colleges
What kind of mag? Do you have to do a whole mag with binding and such, or just a simple cover/article inside?
