Winter break is just around the corner for me, has already started for a few friends, and is probably in a short bit for some of the other folk here.
So what are your plans? (and you Aussies could describe your summer break plans if you want)
Well next week I've got finals (and I'm procrastinating for studying for them right now ), but after that I'm home-free for 3 weeks! I don't have any major plans, not traveling anywhere, not doing anything special (though it will be my 21st birthday at the beginning of January).
I ordered a new computer from newegg last night and had it sent to my home-home so that when I finish finals and take off from school-home I can put it together and start gaming it up right away. My current system is crap, so I've really only been able to play BF2 at shit settings. But with this new one I'm definitely going to get the Orange Box, CoD4, and maybe some other games.
And even though I'm not exactly the biggest gamer, the break will be filled with more gaming on the console. I've been getting the urge to play through some of my older PS2 games lately. Plus some friends got Rock Band so I'll be spending a lot of time at their place traveling the world, racking in fans, and becoming famous
I also need to catch up on movies. Netflix has gotten ahead of me so I've got several movies in my catalogue I haven't gotten around to watching yet.
And then comes my 21st. Not really a big deal, though. Actually it's kind of bad because now I'll actually have to start paying for my drinks One of my friends suggested we go to Vegas, so it's a possibility but I'm not sure. I really don't want to come back to school with a collection of STDs from hookers and a month-long hangover from excessive drinking and drug use (I don't normally do drugs, but if I'm going to Vegas, might as well make it Fear and Loathing style right? )
