Says here I can get a new 40gb PS3 for £170. I can't seem to find the catch though. The only thing is that it's a "new" seller, but Amazon wouldn't put dodgy shit on their site would they?

I might go for this, cos that's a fucking bargain. It's dispatched from the UK so it's not imported and so you're not hit with huge custom tax fines and stuff. I don't get it though.

Seems to good to be true. So it probably is.

I don't really want a PS3, and if I did, I wouldn't trust that place.

What you should do is buy it and then sell it for the usual price and make yourself some money.

I managed to find Xbox360's on Comet (a large UK-based electronics retailer) for 36 quid . Seems that one of their staff members accidentally forgot to add the '0', and so hence blunderingly put it up on their website-store for a ridiculously cheap price. Me and some of my friends ordered about 10 of them, but all of our orders were revoked and we were asked to buy them again .

Correct, i'm getting that one for christmas, 60GB will be sold out soon, and they aren't making any more, 40GB can't play PS2 games, but, i'm not getting a PS3 just for PS2 games.

Wow that sucks. I don't know if it's this way for the whole country, but in Massachusetts, if a store mismarks a price, you are entitled to it. No matter how much it's discounted.
