It's really a tradition on my dads side.
He's named all his animals Newt, and since when we got Krissy (she was 2) she was already named, she got 2 names! haha.
I don't really know why, but all dogs are 'Newt-dog' and all cats are 'Newt-cat'
Now she comes when you called either Krissy or Newt. :]
