The Championship Gaming Series is an international electronic sports league based in the United States of America, though they have expanded to every continent except Antarctica for Season Two. The league was founded in 2007 and is owned and operated by DirecTV in association with British Sky Broadcasting and STAR TV (Asia)[1]. The league is organized like the major North American sports leagues in that it will have a draft and teams allocated to cities.
