Does anyone have any hints on doing this? I know for the carriers at sea I have to aim off the ship a little bit to get my arty on the deck. I also have been center mass on a target i want hit with arty and have it land everywhere but where i want it. I also haven't noticed much of a pattern as where the first round hits at a target. Sometimes more rounds tend to go to one side of my target than others. What are your hints, thoughts, tips, etc........Thanks for any help.

P.S> I did use SEARCH and didn't find this topic. Sorry if it has been addressed before.

I've heard of a directional approach. If say, the artillery cannons are located in the north west, then the artillery shells would land a little bit on the south east of where you've aimed.

dunno where i've heard this, forgot.

I tend to find its ALOT more accurate if you zoom to the closest level to fire it, and the first shell imo lands to the right of where you click

if you have been playing for a time, you will note strategic points, or points people go for first. note these points when a round begins, and be readyu to have the Arty beat a squad to that point

It's true, probably the smartest tip I've heard in a while. It does matter where the guns are in relation to where the strike is placed.

Indeed.  Sheer physics will support that, and since this game is pretty real, the shells are going to fall in a parabolic manner.  It's impossible for them to come straight down - some will land short, but most go long in relation to the placement of the cannons.  Sometimes it's just luck, or lack thereof.
