I've never really understood Knife and Pistol servers. Always considered them as padding but I never though the was this bad. Recently a k/p server popped up for me at SF (I only play SF nowdays) and I thought I'd try it out for once since EA isn't haunting them that bad anymore. After 2 years of playing I finally joined one.
I read the rules posted so I wouldn't get kicked at once. And I actually didn't use my machine gun or throw a single nade (which I'm very proud of). I climbed a roof and after shooting a couple of ppl for about one minute I got banned. Wtf? Well I probably shot the admin or something, or someone was pissed off that I didn't stand in the middle open like a dumbass waiting to get shot.
Well yesterday another k/p appeared so I thought I'd give it one more try since last time was so short, I'd try to play one round at least before resigning. I read the rules while loading the map and when I joined the game I climbed a roof and shot one guy and got banned...
Apparently the roofs are friggin holy, but if you get banned for it they could mention the holy roofs in the rules. Or is it just me? Is it so that on k/p severs you know that you will have to go out in the open, stand still and let all the l33t players shoot you?
well I've tried that now, it was actually worse than i/o and I'm aware of that I don't have to play it and I won't, just curious if all other than me knows how to behave on k/p servers or if I just found some lame servers
