Jo, imo Crysis is one of the best, maybe the bestestandforf*ckingemphasisanotherestestest, games I´ve ever played!

I´ve bought CoD4 and Crysis the same day.

I´ve installed CoD4 first, played two hours or what, and was pretty impressed by the atmosphere of the game. The gameplay itself was a little too slow for me and all those scripted events have I already seen in MoH 1. The AI was just a joke. Those terrorists act like lemmings.

Then I´ve installed Crysis.

After installation I´ve kranked all settings to my needs and started SP campaign.

Well, the intro sequence was a little choppy and I´ve though, what the hell are the requierments for this game, but as soon as the characters leaved the plane it ran fine.

CoD4 what?!

Played for three hours (I´d say) and was impressed by atmosphere, nano-suite, AI, graphics, physics, weapons and even the storyline.

Have you seen the tank mission, where the mountain is crushing?!

What was CoD4 again?

Playing this game reminded me on playing Half Life (and I´m not talking about shitty HL² and its crappy add-ons), but compared to this, everything in Crysis was absof*cking outstanding.

Multiplayer is, compared to CoD4´s cheap multiplayer feature, sorry it´s just a stupid deathmatch and absolutley not challenging, way better. Power Struggle mod is just like good old BF series, the concept behind it is something really new and all the toy and weapon upgrades in this mod are truely epic.

Yes, Crysis is the best game I´ve played so far, even in medium settings on a low end system, it´s pure win.

Definitely a good game, amazing graphics and set pieces.

But DAAAAMN you're just too much of a fanboy, most people who play fps on pc's like playing against other people online. This is where COD4>Crysis (unless you're a fanboy and like running around on bf2-size maps with boring gamemodes and few players online). Everyone plays through the singleplayer once, then it's time to find an online game to whore. Half-life wasn't the legend it was solely because of the singleplayer...HL-DM and CS made it that much better.

It never gave me the WOW factor while playing it, there is some very nice graphics and some very average gameplay, on the whole it felt like a game not yet finished for some reason to me.

nah, I´m not a fanboy... Fanboys are mostly found in CoD4 subsection nowadays. I´ve played Crysis three times, because I´ve played it on three diffrent systems, thats all.

Imo, the MP feature of Crysis is way better than the stupid run/shoot/run noobfest in CoD4. If I want to do something along that lines I rather go for CS or CSS, which beats the shit outta CoD4 mucho grande I always wonder why all those CoD4 fans havent ever mentioned CoD2´s MP? It´s the f*cking same thing with pimped graphics, nothing more nothing less.

Everytime I check for some Crysis MP action I find pretty populated, if Im allowed to call 24/32 populated, servers. And boring? Not imo.

Eh, HL-DM and CS where not included in the first retail of HL1, you had to download both mod´s...

why? I just didnt like HL² so much, and EP1 was so weak I didn´t even bother EP2 for more than one hour. Dont get me wrong, HL² is ok, but not as good as HL1, imo.

Even on lowest settings, the GFX are amazing... I played on medium, but got too much lag, so put it back to low. The super high looks amazing. And I love the suit.

This is how I see it aswell.
I disslike Crysis MP to the point that I can't stand it.

Crysis SP on the other hand is something we've never seen before. There wasn't a single second that I wasn't having fun or admiring something.
Almost limitles possibilities made me try all kinds of different ways to beat the enemies.
Overall I'd have to say that this is propably the best SP I've played to date.

Honestly, I dont get a hang to CoD4 MP, I´ve played it several times now, and no, I dont suck at it, but it was just not appealing to me. I think it´s boring (have I mentioned I´ve only played hardcore, oh wait, softcore servers)

I'm not getting into this with you again,, most of the reviewers (who play games for a living) agree with me.,,

And i doubt you've done much to follow the storyline in HL if you haven't found it exceptionally well written and done...

Price/performance is still way better on the 8800GT's than on the GTX's.... I have never claimed that SLi 8800GTs can beat SLi 8800GTXs

I'm right here, actually. And I agree, the storyline from, say, Metal Gear Solid beats Half-Life 2. BUT I must say that Episode 2 is the most fun, polished piece of single player fun I have had in recent years. You can tell that the creators put the player's experience first in every aspect. It's so much damn fun.

About Crysis:

-It looks horrible on any setting below 'High'.
- The MP is retarded.
- The SP is fun, yes, but CoD4 blew me the fuck away. I haven't played Crysis since.

Well, I´ve played HL1 SP multiple times, because at this time, internets wasnt aviable for everybody, I´ve bought the game on releasedate. I´ve played Opposing forces, I´ve played Blue Shift. I´ve bought HL² on releasedate, played EP1, played EP2... No, I have no idea about HL at all

The story of HL1 was good, no doubt. The story of HL² and its episodes was weak imo.

EDIT: I liked crysis and i was gonna buy it but god it chokes my poor e6400 and 8800gts 640mb to death! I wanted to play it on full with no lag but i suck at overclocking and the last chip i clocked was a sempron 2200 from 1.5ghz to 2.5ghz in cooking oil 2 years ago when i was hardcore geek.
