I would check for the most up to date driver,  second you must pick either windows wireless zero or the  manufactures program.  I would stick with windows over any other program.  Make sure you have it set to the right channel and speed setting in your router.  channel 6 and 54g auto

I have the same problem, only it happens every 68 seconds.

That program doesn't help though

Its windows wireless program thats causing it. You see it automatically looks for other networks every minute or so causing the lag spikes. A manufacturers client wouldn't but currently there is only a client out for Vista for Ralink cards.
