I'm majorly into classic rock/modern rock. I'm getting sick of buying single songs off of iTunes and "other" sources. I'm planning on buying a few albums from people. Here's the list that I'm getting already:

Era Vulgaris - Queens of the Stone Age
Songs for the Deaf - Queens of the Stone Age
Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace - Foo Fighters

I need some more suggestions. Ready? Go.

The Bends - Radiohead
Sound of White Noise - Anthrax (really, it's a good album. lol. And it's rock, kinda )
Deadwing - Porcupine Tree
Who's Next - The Who
First Impressions of Earth - The Strokes
Above - Mad Season

..to name a few.

Hope I mentioned one or two that you don't have yet

He wont like Radiohead if he has listed those bands he is buying. Unless he likes every single type of music. I wouldn't call The Bends by Radiohead extremely classic or normal rock.

You may like Bruce Dickinson as well. He is more metal but incredibly good and its good music for anyone.
