no, i didn't kill that mythological character. i read the novel from james joyce. i just wanted to show off a little bit.

oh, and you irish guys, hopefully they force you to read the novel in school

The most we have to do of Joyce is 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man' or 'Finnegan's Wake' at secondary school.

i read it because it is one of the three novels you gotta read in your life (at least, this is what literary critics say)

the other ones are "a la recherche du temps perdu" from marcel proust and "der mann ohne eigenschaften" from robert musil

however, i think "der proceß" from franz kafka should be on that list, too.

well, it was very hard to read (it would be best to study literature, music, history, medicine, physics etc. at university to understand every aspect of the novel) but it was kinda worth it. especially this stream of consciousness thing blew my mind...
