I have 2 PCs, and one laptop in my house connected to the same network, and file sharing is enabled on all of the hard drives, but how can I share the CD drives so that if I put a CD in PC 1, I could see it from PC 2?
With XP, you should be able to right click the drive > sharing and security > share this drive.
That's what I did with the Hard Drives, but I don't see a sharing a security option for the CD Drives:BlackKoala wrote:

There's also no sharing tab in properties:
run a antivirus scan...

Google Turn Simple File Sharing Off
I know it works because I do it on a regular basis at work. All of the new Microsoft disks we get as part of partner licensing are on DVD. Not all of the systems here have DVD drives.

Yeah I was gonna install pro, but forgot my key, and couldnt find one anywhere, so i had to get this douche Home edition.
