Okay, some AT mine fixes;
Regarding Punish
Either 1.) Do not allow AT mines to kill friendlies, OR, 2.) do not allow punish from friendly AT mine kills.
The reasoning for this is that it seriously sucks to be laying down mines across the path of an enemy vehicle (a street in Karkand for example) and having a humvee full of guys, or an APC, drive over your mine and they all punish you and you lose about 16 points.
Regarding the mines themselves
I believe that this is the mine used by the USMC in BF2. Obviously, you all know that an AT mine is triggered by pressure being put on the mine, either by the track itself or the weight of the vehicle on the ground. An M1 Abrams, which weighs about 65 tons (and it's contemparies, the T90 and the Type 98 do too) is heavy enough to detonate a mine by just driving over it; and according to the description on the aforementioned source, which is extremely accurate, the explosive charge is powerful enough to knock out a tank. I should therefore think, that coupled with the mines in this game that to my knowledge need to hit a track, should be improved by making the AT mines explode if anything crosses it. HOWEVER, to most people who don't form coherent teams, and therefore will have no engineers to dispose of mines (am I correct in reading the next patch, you wil be able to pick up mines/c4?) mines should be detonatable.
Regarding how many an engineer can carry
Each mine weighs approximately 7.7kg. Since the engineer carries four, it would make sense to increase this number by another mine.
Why?
Although Engineer is my favourite class, I see it as somewhat of a letdown, because the (ownage) Jackhammer only has limited range, and the mines are only useful in certain situations.
