NO!  Banning either would restrict millions of responsible people.  And neither really works (see 18th and 21st Amendments and 2nd Amendment).

Can't decide, but you DEFINETLY shouldn't have both at once. Guns and booze do not mix well.

America has gun crime up the wazoo, but no binge-drinking problem. Over here, no legal guns, but we have drunken chavs smashing things.

But you really can't ban alcohol, look at what happened in the 30s. No quality control, and the birth rate would drop dramatically without the beergoggle effect.
