If any of you have ever wanted to go there and check your credit report....don't. Take it from me.
Reasons why:
1. The site installs spyware onto your machine. For a site that requires you to present credit card numbers, social security numbers, names, DOB etc etc, spyware IS NOT the thing I want to see come from your site.
2. The fine print. So when I went there, all I wanted was to see my credit report, once, because I had no idea what it was. The fucking site's name is FREECREDITREPORT, so I assumed the bitch was free. A month later I have a fee of $11.95 sitting in my already over drafted checking account, which in turned charged me a $35 overdraft fee. Apparently they had a page on the registration setup that asked if you wanted credit monitoring and if you do not uncheck it, it will charge you. I never saw it, never noticed it, then whammo! Got a fee. Fucking faggots.
3. The credit report was wrong. Since I checked my credit report there, I had someone where I work offer to check it on some official database that they used here at work. There was a 135 point difference between theirs and ours. Since they are an online "free" credit report scam and we are the largest debt settlement firm in the country, I think ours may be a bit better.
4. The guy on the phone was an asshole. The fucking douchebag got mad at me because I wanted to cancel my credit monitoring and then proceeded to talk down to me the entire phone call because "I didn't know what I was doing". Fuck that guy, I hope his company, family and pets go die in a giant chemical plant explosion. First they scam me, then they berate me when I cancel their "service".
Take it from me, don't go to that site, don't give them any personal information, don't even think about them. Fucking scam artists.
