What will you be using the computer for?
No you shouldn't get that, for 1700 dollar we (bf2s users) can make a machine(including monitor etc) that will rape that DELL PC!
Please don't do it, you can get a pc that is 2-3 times better for that amount of money!
Just tell us:
- your budget (let's say 1700)
- where you live(europe, US, etc)
And we'll find a online shop that delivers to your area and make a kickass PC, k?

Agreed.
Even if you are apprehensive about making a PC on your own, it is really not that bad at all. You have a knowledge base of many bf2s'ers that build their own pc's (me included) and we are more than happy to help you through it. It is a step in the right direction because you know exactly what goes in it, and for the same price you can typically get a system that is 2x better than what you can get pre built.
If you can use a screwdriver and a few other tools, can follow directions, and have some proficiency with Lego's, you can build a computer.
Edit: Were you looking to build a 3D CAD machine for a business or a gaming rig? The Quadro options and ECC ram point to the former.

Remember Me As A Time Of Day
I was in your position. I decided in the end to build my own PC and it was one of the best ideas I ever had.
It wasn't that hard either.

PC building is much easier than it seems... yet, Dells are stable (don't flame lol) and come under warranty. There are positive and negitives. My parents got a Dell, I build my own sys, both are nice, but both have their negatives.
