i think there should be the ability to shoot somebody in the knee so he will move slower. or in arm for lesser accuracy, etc.
but the interesting part here is that the medic can fix these limbs by means of a special set, kind of the defibs-set like.

i like the hear your opinion

Why?  He has a point.  If you shoot someone running at you, it should slow them down.

stop trying to make bf2 more realistic ok its NOT!a few examples are [a shot to the head doesnt kill with a pistiol,a person on a 2 story building can pull out his parachute before he hits the floor,c4 takes 1 second to arm and setup and another out of many is people can bounce up and down with a rucksack and  rifle in their hand without getting tired.

A few more example as i am bored are:if a man get shot 500 times then grenaded then knifed then falls of a 50 story building a zap from a defibrilator will bring him back to life, and a wrench can fix a destroyed bridge in under 10 seconds.

That's not the point.  If it is possible to make a person "acid trip" after inhaling some tear gas like in SF, then it is entirely feasible to have certain hit points slow a person down.

hey jord i didn't want to make bf2 more realistic, it's just that i would find my idea cool .
and i totally agree with you, if it's 2 realistic then the gameplay is ruined.

The duty of medics is to make last minutes of soldier's life easier and less painful. In other words stabilize and simplify 'dying' process.

The duty of doctors is to fix these soldiers if they were lucky to survive.

In BF2 Medics:
The duty of medics in BF2 is to run into a firestorm and revive you at all cost. Revive, revive, revive, revive,, heal, revive. 350 Volt shockers can solve any problem.

Here is one huge red flag in a game, that cannot be made to "realistic"  it is called RESPAWN....

And if people are complaining about the vehicles being over powered now, realistically they are nerfed.

They tried to create some type of balance, and working just on the medic would throw off the balance.  Because technically, if I was an engineer I could walk up behind you and knock your dumb ass out with that big ass univeral fix everthing wrench.  (BTW, is that a Craftmen wrench, it fixes everything. LOL)

I like that you are thinking about new angles for gameplay, but you are missing the larger picture.

That is one of the best medic upgrades/ideas I've ever heard.  Use the G button and drag to a safe zone instead of being cannon fodder.

*it would also present a tougher shot for me when I'm drawing the medics out from hiding while scoping from my sniper spot.  Give me less time to sight them up before I take em down...

Ok I will explain then if I am so dumb. The reason games are not that complex yet is simple elloco6666 AMD just launched the 64 bit processor a year or so ago and that processor will revolutionize the way we play games. But not everyone has a 64 bit processor and the 32 bits that most are still running will not be able to handle the capacity that a real world game would demand. There would be to much going on most systems RAM capacity couldnt hold all the info it would need to and run smoothly. 32 bits can handle up to 4gbs of ram 64 bits can handle 2000gbs of ram. I know sounds like over kill but once we reach games with real world graphics and true to life action you will need an enormous amount of RAM. BF2 alone needs atleast 1gb of RAM to run adequately and another 256 on your graphics card to look decent. Add multiple hit points, multiple injury points and real world effects such as close range pistol shots doing more damage than they do and you will need way more than that. The game you want doesnt exist yet and it will take time for the 32 bit processors to go away and it will take an inovative software programmer to take that leap to the real world game. But for now no one is going to do that because why make that game if you can only sell it to a 100 people when you could make a game you can sell to 10000 for example. Ok done ranting wasnt trying to be rude was just.......well it was rude I apologize but hope I made my point.

thank you flossmore, now that was a good post
and i do accept your apologies (is it written this way? ), and i wanna apologize for calling you dumb.
ok so for now what i want is something that is beyond our limits for now, but you gotta admid,
it will look cool :p, and RDMC's idea sounds cool 2 AND it will come in handy .

so i mean THIS idea:
Nope.. But I do want is that medics ought to be able to drag the dead dude around  a corner where the enemy and shootin at you and then revive him

Ghost Recon had a nifty feature which is exactly what you describe. If you got hit in the leg you limped, if you got hit in the arm you fired poorly, if you got hit in both legs you walked extremely slowly, both arms the same, and they had a little indicator that showed your body. i believe there were even different levels of damage for each limb. if you got hit in the chest you got winded very easily and couldn't run. etc
i think bf2 is fine how it is. but if you want more realistic stuff play a tom clancy game cus they have features such as the ones you described.

because if you don't have an option maybe? like when i'm support (most of the time :p) i don't aim for the head, i aim 4 the chest.
because headshots are 2 difficult for the PKM, okay i could try 4 a headshot but this would take some time...
by then i am long time dead
besides... can you shoot everybody with one bullet in the head? i know i couldn't so...
