My cousin was playing Dragon Valley yesterday and he was commander.. so he was spotting some people.. well.. when he used UAV, he found a glitcher. this guy wasn't an idiot. he was Support, so he had infinite ammo. this particular round he had around 120 score, 66 kills, 0 deaths. and if you look at his KDR and what kit he uses, and what stage he plays, you'll know I'm telling the truth. for some damn reason it took people 4 rounds and 2 different maps of continuous vote kicks to get him kicked out. Glitchers are pathetic. I found ways to glitch behind them and kill them in 1942 and I'll do it again. IF I have to.
Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up. if you see the guy, vote-kick immediatly.

hahaha.
yeah, support is too innaccurate to get that kind of a KDR in a big battle.
haha actually.. if you look at the weapon kills and deaths.. his KDR is even better.

I guess you never played Battlefield 1942. People always glitched on there.

Well, glitching is when somebody finds a glitch in the map which they can get into and it puts them "under the map." and he can see everyone around but they can't see him and they can't shoot him, but he can sure as heck shoot them. so all he has to do is get into the glitch, and throw some ammo around him and just waste ammo like no tomorrow resulting in no deaths and a high kill count.

Again, this is not at all presumption, I witnessed him glitching on dragon valley, so I checked his stats, and sure enough, ALL he plays is Support kit, on Dragon Valley, on chinese side (because the glitch is on the american side [in the 64 player map])

It takes all the fun out of the game when someone does that. I just looked at his stats.... he's probably bored to death by now.

Isn't it called 'clipping' when you can walk through solid objects? or isn't this the same thing.... either way, he's an ass and he won't last long playing like that.

I got accused of glitching the other day playing support in a AA vehicle.  34 kills, no deaths.  But it wasn't a glitch, I just found a few good masked spots to park an AA vehicle not terribly far from the USMC helo pad and kept the AH-1 grounded (and several players out of the action) for the last half of the game, blowing it up as soon as it was boarded.  No ammo worries since I resupplied myself.

The sad part is that the same three or four people kept jumping back into it after I would blow them up, not having the sense to come looking for me (I wasn't that far away, and an easy spot for a Commander, which they had) or at least to jump out of the helo when they heard the lock tone for the second or third or fourth or fifth time.

And the saddest thing was that the two higest scoring USMC players prior to me taking my position were doing it in the AH-1 (they were a decent helo team, good pilot, good shots and good whoreicopter base capping).  I outscored them (barely) and stopped their scores cold (and ruined their K/D for the round) in the second half, and we ended up winning the round by a few points.

So next round on a different map, they managed to get me kicked for "glitching" and "base camping", never mind that in the first half of that round they spent a LOT of time camping our uncappable base and OUR chopper (which is what prompted me to go hunting them down).

All!! out server commands written in console by non server admin personnel are logged on server ?   IOW >     Evidence was found to support the claim that you were abusing the scoring system. We do not give out specific information on what we use to determine what is fiar or not, but your account does not fall under what is considered possible in the time it was done. We will do this whenever we determine that accounts are abusing in game mechanics to gain score/ranks/ and kills. There is nothing further we can tell you about this....be carefull?

I have no idea what the last poster was trying to say... but as for NOCLIPPING... is that really not disabled on live servers?  I could understand in single-player mode, but.....

And no, that's not what the original poster was talking about.  Basically he's describing a "crack" in the map.  Somewhere that the polygons don't meet up properly, leaving a gap through which a player can fall below the geometry.  Since no one should be under the ground, there is no texture on the bottom side of the ground polygons (and thus you can see through it, and there are no properties set to prevent bullets from passing through either).

I remember Anarchy Online in the early days had a LOT of these.  I had a Nanomage character stuck in this hole in West Athen for days...  I believe it was an area next to a building, and I was walking along the edge of the wall, and at some point the ground didn't exactly meet the building, and *slip*, under the map.... but the walls of the surrounding buildings were modeled below the ground level, so I was stuck in a fairly confined spot.  This was one of several times I got stuck in that game.  Something somewhat similar happened in Star Wars Galaxies, in my house, I went through a door and somehow didn't make it through the threshold quite right, and ended up essentially outside the map of the house... it was all black (up, down, left, right) except I could see back through the doorway...  kind of a spooky door into a void of nothingness.

I have seen game glitches of no clipping.  Ever see a leg sticking out of a dumpster and shoot at it, scoring a kill?  I have killed a few spec ops hiding in dumpsters with C-4 at the entrance waiting for me to walk in.

That sucks, especially since he has had plenty of opportunity to stat pad himself off it. At least he's one of the obvious ones, the ones that can hide their actions behind a veil of doubt are even worse.
