why can't they remember what it was like growing up with brothers and sisters? why can't they figure out that sometimes a little brother just needs a good god damned ass kicking? fucking Christ, they sit around watching my little brother act like a scum fuck, refuse to do anything about it, and i just know the second i lay a single fucking finger on him I'm going to get grounded from everything from my car to god damned electricity!

If they get bitchy, stay calm, mayeb state the sentence again, if they are clearly not in the mood, let it go.

Wha I'm saying is, sometimes, if you do that, parents may actually respect the fact you didn't act like a typical bastard kid, and maybe be a more lenient next time. Also, sometimes, even at the consequence of punishment, you have to go for the greater good, and beat a younger sibling to prevent them from growing up a sissy ass bitch that cries when he doesn't get his way, because he grew up getting his way. One day, he will realize, that you taught him a great lesson: Fuck up one too many times, someone's gonna pound your face in. Or: acting like an asshole has consequences.

@ orangehound: cmon. give a guy some credit. there are times for talking, which i tried, and there are times when he needs the fear of god pounded into his sissy ass.

the guy never shuts up. he's loud, obnoxious, rude, he thinks he's being hilarious by acting like a jackass to everybody, including his friends. i honestly do not know one person that hasn't told me he's annoying.

you know those bitches who threaten to run away because mommy grounded him? yeah, thats him. he needs a fucking ass whooping.

@ rooster: thanks for the advice. definitely into consideration.

edit: i should probably add that, generally speaking, I'm opposed to violence. i have a lot of trouble being the one to throw the first punch. the only time i have is, incidentally, against him. also, i'm 17, he's 15.

lol i always fought with my brother, we are very close though, he is one year older than me and we love to wrestle each other. but he always wins of course, and i have developed the biggest fear of being hit. i flinch at everything. some one moves there arm up to scratch their head and i immediately go into a defensive position as though im going to be smacked.

so keep him a tough kid, but go easy

But I think I can picture exactly the bullshit he is pulling. The sheer need to empty the rage into his ass, and the retention to not hospitialize him is challenging.

I think this touchy feely society we have has dehumanized the way things work. I think a bit of resonable bullying by older brothers was a benificial laerning experience for children. Sure, it wasn't fun, but it made kids realize that the world doesn't go thier way, and there are consquences to actions. it also taught kids how to handle situations that are unpleasant, rather than shooting classmates years down the road.

Why do you think Lion cubs bite each other and tumble around? Because one of them stole the other's PSP? Doubt it.

Its hard to say try to talk to people, you get no where with immature, annoying, think theyre the shit and soooooo fucking funny brats. Couldnt have said it better myself, that is the best way to get in good with your parents, and control your brother and get away with it. They dont really want to know it, but theyve probably given up or gotten used to it... On the inside they know you should probably beat his ass but they dont want to allow it with eyes wide open...

Unless your parents are hardcore on that issue Id say your more likely to get away with it as long as you demonstrate respect and calmly deny your brothers claims.

Here's the perspective. Most of the people on here are going to give you teenage advice ... I'm one of the few on here who will perhaps help you understand your parents since (a) I've got four kids and (b) I am old enough to be your father.

You already know how to fight. Everyone knows how to fight. Fighting (hitting, screaming, passive aggressive, etc.) is one of the two immature ways that people deal with conflict ... the other one is running away from the problem.

Your parents are helping you to mature.

One of the hardest skills to learn in life is conflict resolution. Yet, if you can learn how to resolve conflicts without fighting or running away, then you will be a powerful grown up. Very powerful.

You will be a weak adult if you only know how to fight or run when there is conflict.

I'm simply saying to view this problem with your brother as an opportunity to develop an extremely valuable life skill. Find a book or find a website that teaches you how to resolve conflicts using mature communication.
