How do you guys (well if you use it) use the G36E

Hey Guys!

Yes, I am a medic and yes, I do use the G36E as my main weapon, although Im flexible and like the L85 too
What I wanted to ask is, how do u fire the G36E at long range?
Ive seen a lot of firing single shots, but I have found bursts always better for me. (check my stats, Im not that bad)
It eats up a lot of ammo, but that isnt a problem, since, in IO, Supporters throw Ammo packs all the time.

I don't use g36e often, but when I pick one up I use it in burst. Since I'm going to be picking up another kit soon enough
Single shot doesn't work for me with the g36e. M16 does tho.

3-round burst at long range is great when both of you are prone. Lately I've been playing medic tons, but on Rebels maps, so I've been using the AK (and sometimes L85). What I don't like about the 36E is that it takes too many shots to bring someone down, and you do run out of ammo quickly. Well at least I do because I suck G36E is great for headshots, but not much else. And since I don't get headshots all the time, I prefer the power of the AK over the accuracy of the 36E. Guess that means I'm more of a pray-and-spray person?

I think the AK is more of a close-combat weapon.
I often get killed by guys who just pop out of the corner, not even going prone but just firing one shot right into the head
But yeah, ure right, the G36E is a ammo eater, quite annoying..
I thought you couldn't do any head-shots (causing instant death at a healthy target) since it doesn't do enough damage.

Mayeb its because they don't use single shot but a burst... 3bullets in the head and your dead.

I just scope in what position I'm currently in (standing, crouching or prone), move around a little and fire. And if there's something between you and your enemy, you can duck and the shots still are hitting because it's a burst weapon.

For closer cases, cover helps you stay alive. I knocked down 7 MEC guys in a row at MEC Scout Post on Op. Harvest.

Like I said, burst shots still hit after you take cover, so as you fire another burst and go prone, you may have just got another kill.

I use it well.

Also, I use burst. Single shot is useless. It doesn't matter how far away they are, you should be able to take them out in 3 bursts

easy way to use it
aim for the chest
shoot to kill

I almost always use single shot with every gun that has it, because i can always get a headshot, it takes years to get that good however...

I dislike using the G36E, but just use it on burst at long range. Follow this rule:

Aim and fire 3 times on burst.
If target is not yet dead (somehow), switch to single shot.
Empty clip.
If target still isn't dead, then you must fail.

The G36E has less spread on the burst, it the smaller crosshairs, and you can start firing before you land when jumping.

I still prefer the M16, of course.
