The first snowstorm of the season is going on right now. The estimated total just keeps going up and up. Yesterday it was 1-2 inches, now it's about a foot. Supposed to get another and bigger storm on Sunday. Can't wait. I love snow. Snowstorms are a normal occurance up here in New England, but man alive people in these parts are fucking stupid. They all forget how to drive in the snow. There's only an inch out there right now but already there's emergency vehicles rushing all over the place. People go nuts getting to the stores to buy food and stuff. Like it's a major catastrophe and they won't be able to make it back for weeks. That kind of sucks because I wanted to do a little food shopping, but I have no desire to deal with those lunatics. I'd rather be at the mall on Christmas Eve.
Merry fucking X-mas, I haven't seen snow here for the last 5 years.
What happens if you get snowed in, that happened to me one school day, well, i exaggerated a bit when i said the door handle was in a block of ice and the snow by my house was 3 foot, not the average 4 inches.
1 foot and you call that a snowstorm ?

Well it's not like I called it a blizzard. It's a snowstorm.
I have a love hate relationship with snow. I love driving in it and going out and pulling people out of ditches and snowmobiling and all that fun shit. What I hate is everybody wanting to be your best friend because you have a snow plow. As soon as we get a couple inches everyone is calling, wanting their drive plowed so they don't have to shovel. Bastards ruin winter for me.
pics or it hasent happened
But they pay you? or are you talking about family members?d3athwi5h4 wrote:

It's always grey sky + miserable rain here. Well It would be, if it wasn't night.

You motherfuckers dont know how lucky you are.
It's just an icy mix down here.
Send some rain down south. We need it.
Oh meh gesh... it is snowing here too.
you're about 3 weeks behind us (eastern washington) we had about 1 foot over thanksgiving that lasted for a week or so before it warmed up and rained and melted. Now it's back (about 1 foot, maybe a little more) and here to say me thinks!
I love it though. People know how to drive for the most part (everyone just slows down a tad). I live in a small town and nobody is ever in any rush so we just drive about 5 under the limit and everyone is fine.

My family is always free mom&dad, sister and I don't mind helping them out. Its friends of friends, and neighbors and fuckers that think you have nothing better to do than to help them out. They will want you to plow their drive and give you 5 or 10 bucks and shit that barely covers wear and tear and diesel fuel. Then they act like you are a prick because you don't want to get screwed. Fuck 'em this year.{uscm}Jyden wrote:

Yeah, Albany, NY is has gotten about 3 inches so far. The thing that I hate is that I have to deal with alternate street parking for snow cleanup because I have to park on the street. Got my car towed last year, and not looking to have that happen again.
Remember Me As A Time Of Day
Snowing pretty bad over here...
I just shovelled for about an hour. I think I am the only person in the world that really enjoys doing it. One time I shovelled for 5 hours straight because by the time I would finish there would be like 3 inches where I started. Good times, good times.
Damn storm i have two 500 ft spools of cable sitting in New Jersey instead of being on a truck to SoCal. Damn it!!cablecopulate wrote:
