the trial version worked properly, but it only gives you like 30 second clips.
There's probably better programs...what are you trying to do exactly?

Rather than using that software, there are simpler methods.
Easiest - Burn the music onto an Audio CD and then rip it back as an MP3.
Less simple - Burn the protected music to a virtual Audio CD and rip back as an MP3. (Saves wasting discs)
Or - Use a program such as 'Audacity' to record the files and then save them as an MP3.

There are several programs designed just for that. I used a couple I found on the internet to convert wma and m4a files to mp3 for ringtones for my phone.
