I want to run duel monitors.  In one, I have MSN, Vent, etc.  In the other, BF2, COD4, etc.
My problem is that if I'm playing and I go over to type something in one of the other apps, the game minimizes.  Is there any way to keep the game from minimizing while working with another program?

I don't think its possible in XP, but I'm not too sure on that.

Is there no way to keep the game maximized?

Edit: How do I run a game in a regular window?

No its not possible to keep it maximized.
And to run it in a regular window, right click the BF2 icon, and go to properties, and look where it says "target".

See where it says +fullscreen 1

change the 1 to a 0

then save
