I refuse to shop at Wally World and Sam's Club.  In fact, when my GF wanted to buy a camera we checked the local camera shop, but she wanted to look at Wally World.  They were only $1 cheaper, so I made her go back to the local shop to make the purchase.

As for buying US made products, most of the stuff in Wally World is made outside of the US.  It's the only way to get crap cheap enough to meet the price points that Wally World will pay.  That's also why much of their stuff, especially their clothes, are absolute garbage.

Put it this way cheap labour equals cheap products

If it was mad in the USA or the country where it was being sold you can expect the price to increase by probably up to 50% now this tells me you get let less for you money.
Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.

Over here, England make barely anything, we make protractors and the rulers that are"Non shatter" and shatter when broken.

True, I don't think it really matters. Where my mobile phone was made doesn't really rank too high in my "What I care about" rankings.

You should care. What scares me is that everything we use is manufactured elsewhere, usually in China. What the hell would we going to do if we had to go to war with them? Eventually we'd run out of stuff because we have no manufacturing capability anymore. Why do you think the US has been so successful in war? Because we could make more guns/missles/jets/tanks/ships/whatever than the otherside. The classic example is the Abrams tank in WWII. Germany's Panzers were spanking them, but we had 10 Abrams for every one of theirs.

I honestly can't remember the last time I went to Walmart.  Is it still primarily fat people that shop there?

My Walmart has a Subway in it, so it therefore is god-like.

And yes, fat people.  Lots of fat people.

I think you have to have something wrong with you to be able to work there, I mean it seems like 80% of the people who work there are over 70 or they look like there from the movie The Hills Have Eyes... But it's cheap so I shop there. Actually I'm going there in about 5 mins to get some food

I live 5 Mins fromt he Super Walmart, almost every grocery item is atleast, minimum $1 cheaper x that for doing alot of shopping.

last time i went to wal-mart, this lady was riding around in one of those electric carts and rode by my friend and said, "too many damn niggers in here, they need to find somewhere else to go." we were kinda shocked and didn't really know what to say. let's just say this location wasn't short on blacks. no wonder the bitch is in a wheelchair. karma's a bitch.

98% of counterfeit computer components are made in China.  Shenzhen is the hub.

lol, WWII Abrams. Perhaps you mean Sherman...

Honestly, that doesn't really matter. All of our military equipment is made here anyway. Beretta M9s? Licensed to be built here. FN-built M16A4s? FNH USA. And God knows how much money the domestic defense industry makes every year. Our military manufacturing capability is the same as ever, it's just that all average Joe's shit is from East Asia.

An Abrams would rape Tiger after Tiger, having a 32mm bigger main gun, having more than double cruise speed and having 10 times more reliability.

I think you mean Sherman.

I shop at ASDA all the time, and i do so because its cheap.(uk's version of walmart)

Most things in the uk are not made here, nearly everything is imported so yes we would be fucked in war time, but im sure we can handle it without banana's and camera's.

I'm noticing the same thing in the UK too. Most adverts have a "MADE IN UK" stamped on them.
