Trust me, you don't want it to happen to you. It's freaky as hell. Your eyes are half open and you can't move, no matter how hard you try.
I wanna experience it.Sounds fun!and i wont panick,since I know what it is.

Ok anyway, yeah if you didn't know. This forum went down awhile back. Temp BF2s forums were set up courtesy of Liquidat0r and then when the real BF2s was finally brought back online, it also lost 3 months worth of posts/data.

edit: It happened in the morning-ish, at around 8am, I just stayed awake for abit thinking "fuck sake it happened again" and then got out of the bed

I made the other thread Sleep Paralysis. I think its been removed during the 'time-out'. I suffer from it also, it is quite a scary situation, but now I just stay calm and ride it out so to speak. First few times it happened though, I was like the kids out of Elm Street, I dare not close my eyes!! Pardon the pun, but try not to lose sleep over it.

It happened to me twice in the middle of the night, where I tried to get up, but couldn't move.

Never experienced it...I would be scared shitless.  Then I'd be paralyzed and stuck in my own shit.

Right so lately i've been experiencing weird things when I'm about to wake up in the morning. It's happened a couple of times in the past few months. Basically when I'm about to wake up, it feels like that I am awake, yet I can't move around and it also feels like I'm being sort of strangled.

It's weird, it feels like there's a force on top of me holding me down, and I only when I really move myself forcefully and hard does it "go away" - I can't just get up normally. Hard to explain it.

I remember someone saying it's along the lines of "your mind waking up, but your body hasn't"

It's weird, anyone else experienced it. It's also weird because it feels so much like someone is actually holding you down. And it's definitely not me dreaming, I know it's happened in real life.

Thats fucking weird, I've been havin that recently, keep waking up thru the night n not being able to move straight away.

Weirdest one was when I slept at my mates house. Woke up n couldnt move for about 30 secs, tried saying something to my mate, but couldnt talk either!

Jus read the Wiki, I'm sufferein from increased stress and sleep deficiencies, which would explain it

In Korea, there is a sleeping symptom called the scissor press.
You wake up, and there are ghosts on top of you holding you down.
You cannot move any parts of your body, except the eyeballs and lift up your thumbs if you try hard enough.
The only way to break free is to lift your thumbs up or hide a knife under the bed before you sleep.
I had that once. Fucking scary to see a blue human with no pupils pushing you down.
Some people died from it.

I once slept on my arm all night and temporarily paralyzed it, It wore off once the circulation started again, but it was scary as hell.

Well yeah, when your whole body doesn't move when you want it to, it is kinda scary.
