Am i the only one that thinks the bf2s president thing is stupid?

What use could a 'president' possibly have on bf2s.
and giving them power is just a stupid idea that i can REALLY see getting misused.

Maybe if they just have a fancy looking user graphic bar under there name or something, thats cool, but how much power are they thinking of getting?

Idk to me it just sounds like a dumb idea.

The title of president seems like it would suit the user with the highest authority here which would be Chuy.

I don't see anything wrong with introducing a little more community spirit in the form of a presidential election. Granted I think most of the candidates are stupid, but the presidential thing on the whole is fine.

It does seem odd that they are planning to elect a president, whose branch of government has the job of enforcing laws made by our non-existent legislative branch. The only real "laws" we have are the rules on the site, so the only way a preisdent could have power would require that person in question being a moderator or admin.

Exactly we saw this with the sig changes, I made a thread that showed that a clear majority didnt like the change but nothing happened because chuy decided it be that way.
