450-550. Make sure you have a powerful 12V rail(s).

You have nough, don't let them tell you you need 500W to run that. people advised me to use a 700W PSU to run the system in my sig so 430 is enough.

Watts aren't really a good indicator, you'll want to look at the max output of the 12V rail in terms of amperage.  Check out kyle's thread.

yer that will run fine.. as long as its a good quality 430 Watt. as haffeysucks said Watts is not the only thing to think about...

i am running a 1 GB 8600 GT, 4 GB RAM, AMD Athlon 64+ 2.66 Ghz Dual Core 5200+

this runs fine on my Antec 430 Watt

Use this, It should give you a rough idea!

I tried and filled it. I put  2x Hard Drive, 3x Fans and 1x Optical Drive. It came to around ~260w.

Alright good. Its a thermaltake PSU that came with my Sapranos. So is that worth anything?

Go with a 700 watt.  That will put you ahead of the game for later upgrades.  Also prevent you from wondering why your having problems when you add components.  The one you have is enough but IMO overkill is better.......Try any of these----------------------------->> http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi … hermaltake

Around 3.25" x 6" x 5.5" (H X W X D) is the standard I think.
