Are you really that good after 6 months ?

I've been driving for 17 years and people still amaze me with their stupidity.

The one piece of advise I would give anyone is:

Drive as though no one has seen you and everyone is an idiot.
i didn't say i was mr. perfect behind the wheel, but you don't need to be behind the wheel to notice the fuckhead things some people do.
No, I know m8.
I'm not having a go at you.

I work for a breakdown company.
I drive a van to HGV's to see if I can fix them before we call out a tow truck.

I see a lot of stupid things.

DO:

take as long as you can to get to speed
Doesn't bother me a bit.  As long as it doesn't take a mile to hit 25, accelerate as slow as you please.

Merge in front of me, only to drive a slower speed than I was going
Wahhhh.  Wahhh.  Either get in another lane, take a detour around the block, or stfu and drive.

steal my lane in a turn
That would put you what, a car back?  Boo hoo you might be 5 seconds late to where ever you're going.

drive ten under
Did you know this is actually more dangerous than speeding is? --Probably because statistically, there's more drivers that drive slower than faster, and would therefore bias slow vs. fast  (more drivers == higher numbers).  Oh, and there's probably quite a few people that were speeding, however when questioned by authorities after the incident, probably state that they were going slower than actually were.  Your stats fail.

give me those "teen driver" looks
Does people looking at you really bother you?  lmfao.

steal my right of way
Which you have probably done quite a few times yourself.

drive without a muffler, on purpose
   I love loud cars.

slow to a crawl to enter a parking lot or go over speed bumps, especially if your car is raised or you're driving an SUV/truck, or both
God forbid someone want to prevent unnecessary wear on their car.

give me the finger when I stall*
Learn to drive a stick, this shouldn't be a problem.

Not necessarily,  the drivers in my city are terrible.  Most of them are hicks in their giant trucks though.

For the "long as possible to get to speed" point, I'd much rather smoothly accelerate than floor it so I can get to 25 mph before the next stoplight a block away...

I've noticed though that a lot of so-called "experienced drivers" are awful. Many of them are worse at driving in winter than teens because they still go 20 mph over the speed limit in the snow while in their RWD cars (maybe not worse than teenage girls, but close); I've been tailgated by my fair share of them for going the speed limit; in my town there are these bastards who make a one lane per side parkway into two because they can't wait 5 seconds to turn while chatting on their cell phone, but then look as if they've done nothing wrong when I flip them off; there are those who don't use the turn signal---ever.

God, people are the worst.

ahh so you are all spoiled
nope. at least i'm not. quite a few of the kids here are, but quite a few aren't.

there's a difference between having more money than the usual person and being spoiled. when you get whatever you want, when you want it, you're spoiled. when your parents bring in 500 grand a year and can afford to get your a car that costs more than 500 dollars, and they choose to do so, you're just lucky. its the fuckers who drive brand new BMWS on daddy's 30,000 a year that are spoiled.
This is dead wrong. Kids who can get nice cars because their parents will buy it for them are spoiled.

I do agree with what some of what you posted, though. I took a driver's education final and got cut off by three people in one hour. Only one was a teen.

The point about the acceleration is stupid, though. Some people don't like wasting gas by flooring their pedal. You are the one being rude here, not them.

L-platers (16-18 year olds) here usually drive 10 k's under the limit.

They rank as the safest drivers in the country too, so I'd say it's safer to go slower.

No really. It is true. I watch old people drive and they break nearly every single road safety law there is? Why? Because they havent studied them since their test. When I quizzed my parents and other older family friends half of them got half of road safety totally wrong. Ive been driving 2 years now and I know road safety alot better than others, now that doesnt mean I dont make mistakes, but I know when i made those mistakes others dont and blame the other driver wrongly.

Worst drivers I've seen: Asian (Korean and Indian) female teenagers.
One idiot actually was driving during the fire truck time.
Truck nearly killed her (wouldn't really mind that) and heard that she sued them

Ya, what the fuck is with Californian Drivers?

I've yet to see one stop at a stop sign, signal, or even know what the fuck they are doing..

I remember driving down I-5 when it was raining outside, no one knew what the fuck they were doing, they were still doing like 20 + the speed limit..
I swear, every Mile I saw a car into the wall, I think I saw 2 semis on there sides in the stretch of like 5 minutes.. quite funny..

Not saying people can drive much better around here, but California is definetly worse..

My friend got into an accident because some Asian lady pulled out from stopping at the side of the road without even fucking looking..

Its not myself I don't trust, its all the other idiots on the road..

Funny how everyone says that they drive with idiots. My logic is that we all make mistakes behind the wheel. Sure people do stupid things and hell that means you to. It just so happens that you see that persons mistake, that does not make them an idiot. Sorry your wrong, when you drive among thousands of people in a givin day you are bound to see something. Lets try and stop generalizing things like a bunch of tards.

Things like forgetting to Signal, driving to slowly, cutting people off etc, those are not mistakes, those are bad habits, and quite a few people have them.

Yes they can be mistakes as well. You know that, I don't need to explain how.

Look I'm not saying that some people aren't idiots but give people the benefit of the doubt once in awhile.

EDIT: And BTW, I agree with the OP. The younger drivers are alot better than everyone else from what I've seen.
