I think bombers and choppers are opposite co-pilot wise.
If I recall correctly, jets fire missiles which require guiding, and choppers fire missiles which use a laser or something to find the target.

Chopper missles (TV GUIDED) are the ones you can guide, and Jets have lazer guided missles
Why dont they use the fire and forget system in javelins to use on jets? Or is that TOO far for it to keep a lock.

Well, both Mavericks (for jets) and Hellfires (for choppers) have their own fire-and-forget systems.NeXuS4909 wrote:

A wire-guided missile is a missile that is guided by signals sent to it via thin wires connected to both the missile and its guidance mechanism, which is located somewhere near the launch site. As the missile flies, the wires are reeled out behind it. This guidance system is most commonly used in anti-tank missiles, where its ability to be used in areas of limited line-of-sight make it useful, while the range limit imposed by the length of the wire is not a serious concern.signa wrote:
