Insert your windows cd and boot from it, it should ask you to format when you start to install windows again. Not sure about vista but on XP at least

1) Take a backup of all data you want to keep (on ANOTHER disk (hd, usb, external HD. Other partition than C could do the trick too).
2) insert Windows installation disk (or recovery disk that came with your pc).
3) Boot from the CDrom, choose install Windows, format C-partition (takes some time), install XP/vista whatever OS, wait another 45 minutes till it's complete.

4)Install drivers
5) install windows updates
6) Put back-up back.
7) install all programs you need.

That's about it, I think Will cost you around 2 hours probably

Most effective BF2s tech help thread ever! I'm proud! Karma for all
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
