"An elderly Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life...

He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me, it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One wolf is evil -- he is fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, competition, superiority, and ego.

The other is good -- he is joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."

They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied: "The one you feed"."

All I know is.....my drugwolf must be quite large by now....

Seriously....this is some good psychology.

It's the same philosophy that nearly all cultures share.
In a very real way, the fight is always raging inside all of us, but what this Cherokee legend is leaving out: Other factors can feed the "wolves", and other "wolves" (from other people) can reinforce each other.

Soo rfx-fx....you never have "second thoughts" or sometimes feel that you might be doing that is not true to your nature?

I beleive we all have an inner voice that makes us struggle/talk with ourselves and our consciousness....some might hear/feel it better then others though.

Also I think in the OP the example of "evil" and "good" are quite good displayed with EVIL, "fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, competition, superiority, and ego." and then GOOD, "joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

But then again...I have done shrooms and acid for some years....
