and like i said, its possible that I'm smarter, but i have no idea who you are or anything about you, which is why it would be stupid for me to say i was. my point was merely that just because somebody is younger than you doesn't mean they don't know anything or are automatically worse than you at something. if you're a good driver, there's no reason to get pissed at what i've said, because you do know that most of it is unobjectionably correct, and while some of it may be my opinion, most of it is general road safety.

i also make a point to never go more than 5 over the posted limit, and thats only when i'm really in a bind. if i don't know the limit, i assume its 35 its its a single lane with a suicide lane, 40 for a double w/suicide.

about my car: well, my dad was planning on getting me something a hell of a lot cheaper, but he had just sold his corvette ZO6 and was having second thoughts, saw this car used at a dealership going for 5 grand less than usual, and decided not to pass. when he told me he was getting me a car, i asked for two things, if possible: a stick shift, and something with a CD changer, so i wouldnt have to dick around with CDs while driving.

and you're right about the maturity of the post. i've been having a shitty day and took it out on you, because i was angry about the way some people were treating me in the thread. i apologize for that.

There´s more people in the world than you, just cause the reality does´nt match your world don´t make it false. Those insurances are based on statistic. Young Men are waaay over presented in accidents that´s a fact not a wild guess.

Of course there are exceptions but overall youngsters are by far worse drivers.

Edit: Tickets they base Insurance on? well.. i´m not from America but here it´s sure as hell is the accidents that the insurance company looks at why on earth would they care if you get a ticket? that does´nt cost them anything. It´s about money.

I hate it when you people drop the "Central" from your "Valley".  If you say "The Valley", everyone in the US thinks of one place, and it certainly isn't your cattle country.

I'm curious, what does one do in Fresno that allows them to make over $500,000 a year?  I nearly can't fathom this, since the rest of us considers the Central Valley to be California's armpit.
