£200 speakers meant to be getting delivered today.

Saw the delivery van drive right past my house.

Phoned them up and asked them to phone the driver and get him to turn around because my house is hard to find and he might have missed it.

They said that they can't confirm he had missed the house until 8pm tonight when he returns to the depot.

Fucking fuck, i was like "Well obviously he has because i just saw him drive right past my house... if you phone him he can turn around and be here in 2 minutes"

No sir... company rules.

Fucking exactly, was getting of bus after work and saw him go to the door leave it beside the door and leave. My door is in plain view of a fucking motorway lol.

it doesn´t make sense to let your packets be delivered with extra insurance, when the fucker leaves the package outside the door..

Same happened to me a few times. They never rang the doorbell and just went back on the truck. So I left a rather irate post it on the door: Please go inside and RING THE DOORBELL. I cannot hear you knock on this door.

It was delivered the next day.

Are they fucking retarded and don't use any common sense? I mean, if you can deliver it by ringing the doorbell, you don't have to fucking stop by the next day.

And FYI, working at company that does a lot of shipments, we have found UPS to be MUCH more reliable than either Fed Ex or DHL.

i dont know who sends it but its fucking fast, i get it in my house in 4 days and if im not home they leave a note saying i can pick it up from my local post office..

but i can always arrange someone to pick it up

And sorry to hear that WhiteFusion - been trying to send my brother his Xmas prezzies up to Scotland (Saltcoats, Ayeshire - go kill him if you want ) but no-one will courier chocolates! So annoying, but I ended up twisting ParcelForce's arm - I find them to be the best, actually.

whenever I order stuff, I see it at our depot so I can take my stuff home at my own shift, but I only pick up stuff from the government here (no delivering thank god.)
